Mildred Jane Kerr Hutcheson

Mildred Jane Kerr Hutcheson, age 91, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on July 23, 2019, at her home.
Mildred was born on September 28, 1927, to the late Clarence S. and Mary Cole Kerr in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. She retired from Stauffer Chemical where she worked as a manager. She served as an Elder and Treasurer of Mt. Pleasant First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Mildred was an avid Bridge player. She loved to knit and crochet, was a huge supporter of the Lady Vols and an accomplished stained glass artist.
She is survived by son: James E. Hutcheson, Jr. of Columbia, Tennessee; daughter: Jane (Tony) Shipp of Lebanon, Tennessee; daughter: Melissa Hutcheson of Mt. Pleasant; daughter: Helen (Peter) Bellomo of Massachusetts; son: Jerry (Bobbie) Hutcheson of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee; grandchildren: Cass (Julie) Hutcheson, Rebecca Shipp, Taylor (Ginny) Shipp, Michelle (Billy) Mather, James Bellomo, Christopher Bellomo, Corey Hutcheson, Cole Hutcheson. Great-grandchildren: Alex, Austin, Sydney, Shelby, Montgomery, Quinton, Millie, and Macy. She is preceded in death by her husband: James Everette Hutcheson, Sr., her parents, twin sister: Margaret Barnes; brother: George Kerr; and grandchildren: Jennifer Shipp, Heather King, and Nicholas Bellomo.
Services will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant at 5:00 PM with Dwight Liles officiating. Family will visit with friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant, 126 North Main St., Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee 38474.
