Myron George Dorow, 89, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on October 9, 2019 at Creekside in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Myron was born on August 30, 1930 to the late George E. and Martha Kessler Dorow. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was known to be very patient, kind and detail oriented. He loved animals and would keep feeders in the yard for the birds and squirrels. His daughter lovingly named him Dr. Doolittle because he had a way with animals. He also enjoyed woodworking. Myron was a committed bargain hunter, always looking for the best prices on whatever he bought. He was a serious BINGO player in his later years.

He is survived by son: David (Sandra) Dorow; daughter: Lorie (Bob) Anderson; grandchildren: Shannon and Justin Dorow, and Jordan and Morgan Anderson; great-grandchild: Julia Anderson; sister: Shirley (Chuck) LeMay; brother: Alan “Butch” (Kaye) Dorow; sister-in-law: Margaret Dorow, brother-in-law: Don Drayton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his spouse: Lucy Geraldine Dorow; parents; brother: Bud Dor ow; sisters: Lois Drayton and Barb (Norm) Richardson.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 from Noon until 2:00 PM. at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia. Services will be at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
