Naowarat “Toomie” Grady, age 74, passed away on February 5, 2022 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee.
Toomie was born on February 20, 1947 in Thailand.
Toomie was a business owner and restaurant owner for many years in Clarksville, Tennessee. She ran and owned the Thai House. She loved owning a place of her own and being independent. Toomie loved her family so much and would travel to her home with her son, Rick, when he was a child.
Toomie loved cooking Thai food for all her family and friends. Toomie loved giving the cats their treats every day. As much as Toomie loved her family, she also loved to gamble. Her favorite was Pick 3. When working in Clarksville, she would often go across the state line and frequent the Casino and horse tracks in Kentucky.
Toomie was a woman of free spirit and she will be missed deeply by her family.
Toomie is preceded by her loving husband: Clifford Grady, whom she is finally reunited with after 36 years.
Toomie is survived by her son Rick (Niki) Grady; grandchildren: Gabriella, Christian, and Miles; former daughter in law and friend: Carla; extended family Robin and Jesse; and family in Thailand.
The family of Toomie will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee.
