Paul Ray Knowles Sr.

Paul Ray Knowles, Sr., age 68, of Mt Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at NHC, Columbia.

Paul was born on July 20, 1951 in Utica, New York to the late Alfred Knowles, Sr. and Marion Denslow. He worked as a truck driver the majority of his life, most currently with South East Carriers out of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He enjoyed being outside whether it was hunting, fishing, or boating. He also loved the time spent with family at cookouts and holiday gatherings. He enjoyed taking in a good football game, “GO MTSU BLUE RAIDERS!” he also cherished time spent with his wife at their camp on the Tennessee River.

Paul is survived by his son: Paul Knowles, Jr.; daughters: Cheree and Nikita Knowles; grandchildren: Davina and Shea Culberson and Cameron and Dasia Harrison; great-grandson: Hezekiah Easley; sisters: Marie Thomsen, Anna Skinner and Alice Walters; brothers: Alfred Knowles, Jr. and Cecil Knowles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death wife: Karen Knowles; parents, daughter: Lori (Rondeau) Culberson; his twin sons: Phillip and Joshua Knowles; and sisters: Barbara Swift and Linda Kratzenburg.

Family will visit with friends on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia. A Celebration of Life will start at 6:00 PM.
