Paul W. Morgan Sr, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Hampshire, Tennessee. He was born on December 15, 1946, to parents, R. Harold Morgan and Lois Nichols Morgan in La Grange Ohio.

Paul worked at various jobs over his lifetime. He worked as an over-the-road trucker, manager at Long John Silvers, and as a math school teacher. He loved looking over his land, sitting outside, puffing on three cigars a day. Paul entertained everyone he met with a great sense of humor. Above all, he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Petty Morgan; his children: Merrianne (Ronald) McDowell, Roger (Tammy) Morgan, Paul W. Morgan Jr.; grandchildren: Michael Wayne (Carolyn) Morgan, Cody (Ariel) Shoemaker, Thomas (Shayla Zeak) Morgan, Robbie, Sam, and Joanna McDowell, and Lyta Catherine “Katie”; stepchildren: Skylar Sensat, Maliah Vasquez and Melodie Round, step-grandchildren: Justin and Jonathon Amos; great-grandchildren: Jasper, Gene, Lizelle, Allen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and mother of his children, Lyta Joanne Shoemaker Morgan, Sister: Valerie Morgan Poth. Paul’s family will be visiting with friends and family on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Memorial service will follow starting at 11:00.
