Rachel Davis

Rachel Davis, age 81, passed away on January 21, 2022, in her home in Summertown, Tennessee.

Rachel was born on June 6, 1940, to the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Lewis in Athens, Alabama.

Rachel graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1959. She later went on to marry the love of her life Jimmy Davis and were married for 57 years. Rachel was strong in her Pentecostal faith. Rachel loved to sing and play the guitar. She also enjoyed many crafts and embroidery.

Rachel was a kind, loving, compassionate caregiver. She would do anything for anyone. She loved animals too. She enjoyed seeing birds and animals. come up to her deck

Rachel was a wonderful wife and mother and will be deeply missed by her family.

Rachel is preceded in death by her loving husband Jimmy Davis; daughter: Vicky Elaine Davis; sister: Lucille Martin and Brother: Edward Lewis.

Rachel leaves behind her son: Jeffrey Davis (Angela); sister: Gail Holloway (Ricky); grandchildren: Shaddon Cole Davis, Austin Cain Davis, and Breaanna Wilson; one great-grandchild:Kayleigh Wilson.

Pallbearers include Jeff Davis, Cole Davis, Cain Davis, Tyler Holloway, and Corey Beckum.

A visitation for Rachel will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 12 to 2 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A service for Rachel will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
