Ronald Lee Lundberg

Ronald Lee Lundberg, age 84, of Columbia passed away on November 19, 2019, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ronnie was born on April 21, 1935 to the late Gustaf and Wilva Strayer Lundberg. He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School, Class of 1953 and went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force. He later worked throughout his life in Optical Field before finally retiring from Smeelink. He had a great love for his God, Wife, Family, Country and Golf. His home away from home was the Golf Course at Stoneybrook, in Columbia, TN. Overall Ronnie was a competitive golfer but always had a good time with his buddies. His best round was a 72 and a few years back he had a hole-in-one on Stonybrook's number #12. Ronnie is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Ron is survived by his wife: Angelita Mitchell Lundberg; daughters: Brenda Luebbers, Lisa King, Tina (Paul) Mitchell, and Terona Killingbeck; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his sister: Carol Lundberg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Tola Lundberg; daughter: Lynette McDaniel; and brother: Jack Lundberg.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Stoneybrook Golf Club from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Chris Alonzo officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Stoneybrook Golf Course in Ronne’s name.
