Samuel Warren Clary, age 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Columbia, TN, Sunday, July 19, 2020. He was born January 4, 1977 in Nashville, TN to the late William Clary, Jr. and Terry Gordon Vail.
Sam was a generous person that never met a stranger. He could talk to anyone and if they needed something he would also give them the last dollar in his pocket. He always sought to make others laugh and bring smiles. He always enjoyed sports especially football and pulling for the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoons. Sam's kind nature and bright personality will be deeply missed.
Sam is survived by his children: Celeste Woodley, Leann Thorn (Johnny), Makayla Clary; grandchildren: Landen, Johnny III, and Donavyn; mother: Terry Vail; and 2nd mother: Betty Martin. Sam is preceded in death by his father.
The family will visit with friends Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN.
