Sherron “Sherrie” G. Blackwood, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away on March 30, 2019.
Sherrie was born on July 26, 1948 to the late Robert and Robbie Richee in Jackson, Tennessee. She was an LPN and enjoyed working with people for many years. She liked sports, especially softball and bowling. She umpired and coached Little League games. She truly loved people and made friends with everyone she met.
She is survived by son: Christopher Michael (Janice) Blackwood; daughter: Jennifer (James) Hoops; grandsons: Colton Blackwood, Logan Blackwood, Dylan Hoops and Conner Hoops; sisters: Rosalind Richee and Connie Richee; brother: Robert (Bubba) Richee; and special cousin: Shirley McNeese, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 3:00 at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. Family will visit with friends from 2:00 PM until time of service.
