Theodore "Ted" Austin Martin

Theodore “Ted” or “Teddy” Austin Martin, age 61, of Leoma passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at his residence.
Ted was born on February 9, 1957 to Wanda Weaver Martin and the late Lewis Austin Martin in Hammond, Indiana. He loved to fish especially in all of his favorite local spots. Ted owned his own business for many years, “Martin’s Vinyl Siding.” He also spent several years working at Goodwill and Magnetti Marelli. Teddy loved spending his time taking apart items and putting them back together. He was always fixing different things for people he cared about. Ted was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his mother, Ted is survived by his sisters, Sherry Morse of Birmingham, AL and Valarie Hamilton of Indianapolis; Nephews: Kris Morse and Matthew Morse; Aunts: Faye Green, Jerrye Weaver, and Carolyn Martin. Many cousins also survive him. He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Austin Martin and his sister, Lori Irene Martin.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Leoma Baptist Church, 6 Dunn Leoma Road Leoma, TN 38468.
