William Lee Fowler

William Lee Fowler "Bill," age 89, passed away in his home in Brentwood, TN, on March 13, 2020.
Bill was born on July 04, 1930, in Nashville, TN, to his late parents Foster Leon and Bertha Gall Fowler. He attended Vanderbilt Unversity in Nashville, then went to serve his country in the United States Navy. Thereafter he graduated from Harvard Business School and Southern Methodist University with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Texas Instruments, Globe Union in Milwaukee, and went on to be President of Altec Lansing Corporation in Anaheim, California. He disliked retirement and took a job in Nashville with B&B Manufacturing, a job he loved. He was also president of Score for some time.
At Bill's request, there will be no formal services.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Igna Fowler; children: Philip (Lynne) Fowler of Wilmington, Delaware, and Celeste (Buddy) Gantt of Varnville, South Carolina; grandchildren: Phoebe Fowler, Henry Fowler, Hope Fowler, Lydia Fowler, and Gus Fowler.
