Ashlee Summer McPeak

Ashlee Summer McPeak, 34, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, tragically passed away on July 10, 2025, in Vermillion, Ohio. Born on April 4, 1991, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Randy and April McPeak, Ashlee was a vibrant, compassionate, and fiercely independent woman whose presence left an impression on all who met her.

Ashlee had a deep love for nature and all living things, with a fondness for butterflies, honey bees, and birds—especially chickens. A spiritual soul, she believed in using her unique gifts to help others, always offering her heartfelt insight to anyone in need. As a social media influencer and independent business owner, she was adored by a multitude of followers around the world.

Her passions were many: she was a devoted fan of "The Office" and all things Disney, and a voracious reader with a taste for stories that spanned history and the mystical. She adored music in all its forms, and had an open mind that welcomed every opinion, every voice, and every walk of life. Her curiosity for the past led to a love of genealogy and history; she was always seeking connections among family members across the generations.

Ashlee was a hardworking, witty and down-to-earth woman—an old soul and free spirit who brought light and love to those around her. SShe never met a stranger; she made friends easily with her vivacious laughter and genuine interest in everyone she spoke with. Her greatest devotion was to her "Best Girl"—her daughter, April. Ashlee made sure April's life was filled with love, fun, and adventure.

Ashlee is survived by her daughter, April; her parents, Randy and April McPeak; her sisters, Katie and Emily McPeak; her niece, Willow; her Grandma, Diane Meade; her uncle, Rick McPeak; her grandfather, Fred Nesselrode; her many loving cousins; and extended family members.

A celebration of Ashlee’s life will be held on Saturday July 26,2025 at 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral home in Columbia,Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to the start of the service.

Ashlee’s life was unfairly ended far too soon, but her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will live on in those who knew and loved her.
