Mrs. Barbara Beckman, aged 80 passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at her residence.
Born in 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Joseph and Frances Lovera, Barabara lived a long and full life marked by love, laughter, and deep devotion to her family.
Barbara married Carl Beckman in 1990. They spent many years traveling and collecting antiques together. Barbara was a certified pharmacy technician and retired from Crockett Hospital as well as NHC Homecare.
In addition to her husband Carl, Barbara is survived by her daughters, Cindy Worley (Chuck), Tricia Baker, and stepdaughter Jennifer Stutts (Chris). Barbara is survived by 5 grandchildren; Sara McMackin (Josh), Chad Augustine (Kathleen), Drew Augustine (Jessica), Caroline Worley, and Charlie Worley (Riley), 8 step-grandchildren and 2 great grand daughters, Lily and Harper McMackin. Barbara loved nothing more than spending time and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Bob Lovera, son in law Johnny Baker and great granddaughter, Madelyn Augustine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Prospect Volunteer Fire Department.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN, is assisting the family with arrangements. Visitation and celebration of Barbara’s life will be Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4 to 6 pm at the Fireside Room at First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
