BettyAnn Stewart, age 90, passed away on September 28, 2026, at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.

BettyAnn was born on March 21, 1936, in New Holland, Pennsylvania, to the late Harold and Dot Gehman.

A woman of strong and steadfast faith, BettyAnn carried her beliefs with her throughout her life. She attended Mt. Zion Church in Denver, Pennsylvania. She remained incredibly active and especially loved walking. Her determination and energy were remarkable—even at the age of 89, she walked an impressive 200 miles on Akron Trail.

BettyAnn also found great joy in spending time outdoors. She loved tending to her flowers and growing tomatoes, taking pride in watching her garden flourish. In her younger years, she enjoyed hosting and entertaining, welcoming others into her home and creating opportunities for family and friends to gather together.

BettyAnn is survived by her son, Bobby Lee Stewart (Karen); grandchildren, Bobby Dustin Stewart, Kelly Sue Stewart, Clint William Stewart, and Billy Fountain; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Nick, Gauge, Gemma, Josiah, Jocelyn, and Steel.

In addition to her parents, Harold and Dot Gehman, Bettyann was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Gehman (Connie).

BettyAnn will be remembered for her enduring faith, her strength and determination, her love for the simple beauty of flowers and a thriving garden, and the life she shared with those she loved.
