Mr. Billie Robinson, age 81, a resident of Enterprise Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at NHC Columbia.
Graveside services for Mr. Robinson will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday in the City of Murray Cemetery in Murray, KY.
The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the Blalock-Coleman and York Funeral Home in Murray, KY.
The Jackson, MI, native was the son of the late Herschel and Elizabeth Garret Robinson. He was a WW II veteran and a retired truck mechanic for Motor Transportation in St. Louis, MO. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include two sons: Billie J. Nina Robinson of Mt. Pleasant and Daniel Metcalf of Tucson, AZ; one daughter: Betty Sue Metcalf of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Leah Richard Malone of Columbia, Robin Greg LaHaye of Missouri, Tina Metcalf and Valarie Metcalf of Michigan, Brad Sherri Robinson of Jonesboro, AR and Michael Meyers of St. Louis, MO; great-grandchildren: Cody Collins, Nathan Robinson and Shana Charlie Cummins. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
