Bruce Kennedy, age 75, passed away on January 24, 2026, at NHC Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

He was born on August 31, 1950, in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, to the late Henry Kennedy and Ruthie Lee Kennedy.

Bruce loved his family beyond measure and took great pride in each generation of his family. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time outdoors and caring for his animals. His favorite movie was Jurassic Park, which he enjoyed watching time and again.

He is survived by his children, Bruce Kennedy, Jr., Billy Kennedy, Jimmy Kennedy, and Amy Rochester; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, David Kennedy, Carolyn Ragsdale, and Annie Stewart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul Kennedy, and his siblings, Georgia Odom, Mary Cotton, and Shirley Beatty.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.

Bruce will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his kind heart, and the quiet joy he found in the world around him.
