Carole Anne Coleman passed away Tuesday, September 12,2023 at her home. She was 48 years old. Carole Anne was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 16, 1974, the daughter of John B. and Debbie Worsham Coleman. She is the mother of Jay Christian Talbott Coleman.

 

Carole Anne graduated from Columbia Central High School where she served as a class officer, cheerleader and was a national DECA finalist in economics.  Following high school she attended Belmont University on a cheerleading scholarship and Middle Tennessee State University. During high school and college Carole Anne served as Miss Maury County, Mule Day Queen and Fairest of the Fair. She held many other state wide honors and titles.

 

Survivors in addition to her parents and son include Lyle S. Worsham, Polly Blalock, Ercelle Johnston, Luke Worsham, Emma Hubbell, Anna Hubbell. Abbey Johnston, Nick Johnston, Susan and Jeff Hubbell, Marvin Bailey, David and Sheila Register, and Linda Lowe.

 

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Lyle T. and Ruby Brown Worsham, W. Bruce and Darlene Coleman and great aunt Sharon Brown Bailey.

 

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, September 28,2023 at Southgate Church of Christ, the Reverend Russell Smith officiating.

 

The family welcomes all of Carole Anne’s friends to attend visitation from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and the service at 5:00 p.m.

 

The family would like to thank the South Gate Church of Christ congregation and Columbia Academy for their support and many kindnesses during this time.
