Dallas DeBoer, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Born on July 22, 1953, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Dallas was the son of the late Henry and Edna DeBoer. He lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family and his country.

Dallas had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his dad jokes, dry sarcasm, and quick wit. He could always find a way to make those around him laugh, and leave a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Traveling was one of Dallas' greatest passions, especially when it meant spending time with his beloved wife, Martha. Together they created countless memories exploring the world through many cruises, including an unforgettable transatlantic voyage from London to Miami. His adventurous spirit also extended to his love of trains. One of his favorite trips was riding Amtrak from Memphis to Washington State before embarking on an Alaskan cruise.

Dallas was a collector through and through. Whatever sparked his interest, he embraced it wholeheartedly, taking pride in growing his collections over the years. He enjoyed sharing those interests with others and was always eager to talk about his latest find.

He also loved gathering around the table with family and friends for card games and board games. Dallas enjoyed a little friendly competition, but there was one thing everyone knew—he expected the rules to be followed. Whether it was a card game or a board game, playing by the rules was simply part of the fun.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Martha De Boer; his children, Rachelle (Steven) Neyhouse and Dean DeBoer; his cherished grandchildren, Liam DeBoer, Keirnan DeBoer, Madelyn Neyhouse, and Wyatt Neyhouse; his sister, Donna Peters; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever treasure his memory.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Edna DeBoer, and his sister, Bette O'Donell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. American Legion Post 19 will render Military Honors in recognition of Dallas' faithful service to his country.

Dallas leaves behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, integrity, and love. His stories, his jokes, his steadfast principles, and the countless memories he created with those he loved will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
