Mrs. Delvene R. Lyons, 72, a resident of Big Swan Creek Road in Hampshire, passed away Tuesday, February 24.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lyons will be conducted Thursday, February 26 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Grove Cemetery in Summertown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Lawrence county native was the daughter of the late Dewey and Ruby Patton Hammett. She was the widow of James E. Lyons, Jr. She was a manager at Quik Mart and a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Ricky Debra Lyons of Mt. Pleasant, Retha Burton Graham of Hampshire and Regena Bobby Hooks of Columbia; grandchildren: Mandy Lyons, Wes Lyons, Todd Graham, Chad Lovely and Morgan Hooks and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother: W.D. Hammett.
Pallbearers will be Wes Lyons, Chad Lovely Todd Graham, Burton Graham, Billy Lyons, Harlan Lyons and Eugene Lyons.
