Dorothy J. Rief Lasko, age 83, a resident of Rolling Fields Drive in Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at NHC/Columbia.
Private graveside services will be conducted at a later time in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbus, MS. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Council Bluffs, OH, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Minnie Wehrli Rief and wife of the late Joseph Lasko. She retired as a chemical engineer.
She is survived by a son, Gary Ahart, Sr. of St. Petersburg, FL; special friends, Dale and Mary Howard Shelton of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ahart.
