Everett A. Catlin Jr. (76) passed away unexpectedly December 28, 2025, in Columbia, TN. He was born June 20, 1949, in Morristown, NJ, to the late Everett A. Catlin Sr. and Margret Nelson Catlin.

Eddie was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, Columbia, TN. Where he loved and served his God.

He was an amateur radio operator, having been introduced to the hobby by his father at an early age. He spent many hours building radios and talking to people all over the world. He was active in the local Amateur Radio Club.

Eddie enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating high school, serving from 1967-1969, including one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a true Patriot and loved his country.

He worked and retired from Eaton Corp in Jackson, MS after 28 years of service. After retirement he and his wife moved to Columbia, TN to be near their family.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Nan Hollingsworth Catlin, sons: Jospeh Ryan Catlin (Devonna) and Steven Scott Catlin, two granddaughters, Olivia Paige and Ellie Rose Catlin, and his sister, Margret Catlin Dailey.
