Faye Craft, age 90, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026. She was born on February 22, 1936, in Lawrence County, Tennessee, and was lovingly raised in Bonnertown.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Rev. Mike Dawson will officiate. Wilson and Charline Henderson will guide the music. Faye will be laid to rest with her husband, at Polk Memorial Mausoleum.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Audrey Pruitt Yarber and her husband Don Craft.  She is survived by her children, Patti Craft Abens (Jeff), Garry Craft (Melinda); grandchildren, Jennifer Knight (Chad), Bryan Butler (Bobbie) and Rebecca Craft Hixson (Rett); great-grandchildren, Blake, Chanlier and Gavin Knight, Bryce and Chloe Butler and Everett Layne Hixson IV; great-great-grandchildren, Addie Knight, Reese Knight, Russ Knight, Wrenleigh Knight, and Truitt Johnson.

Faye spent her early years working at a real estate office, but her greatest calling was as a devoted homemaker. She created a warm and welcoming home where family and friends were always cherished. Known for her kind giving heart, she consistently put others before herself and was a source of comfort and strength to those who knew her.

She had a deep love for simple joys in life—especially flowers and gardening, reading, and sewing. Faye was an excellent cook and found great happiness in feeding and gathering with loved ones. She also enjoyed watching football and baseball alongside her beloved husband, Don, sharing in those special moments together.

A woman of strong faith, Faye loved her church and her church family at Highland Park Baptist dearly. She faithfully served in the Super Senior Choir and carried a deep knowledge and wisdom of God's Word. Her faith guided her life, and her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Faye will be remembered for her loving nature, her many close friendships, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence.

We love you, Nan. We take comfort knowing we will see you again in Heaven.
