IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick Craig
Johnson
November 12, 1951 – February 5, 2026
The family of Frederick Craig Johnson is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday February 5th, 2026, at the age of 74; although if you asked him, he was only 34 plus a couple.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Glenda O'Neal Johnson, his sons Chase (Chrystie) and Blake (Heather) Johnson; grandchildren Amanda, Kalynne, Gabriel, Kaylee, Syrus, Raelynn, Abby, and Tyler; his brother Gary and his sisters, Theresa and Lisa; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer; brother, Lamar; and parents, Joseph and Sallie.
Fred to some, Craig to others; He was born in Savannah, Georgia. Through the grace of God, lived all over the country from California to Georgia, with many in between, before finally settling in Tennessee. The man's love to travel and see what the world had to offer was only seconded for the love for his family. Trips to Switzerland and Hawaii were often talked about. He liked visiting historic sites and museums. Loved watching the ocean waves from the top of a restaurant with a cocktail. He talked many times about classic cars that he had or some that got away. He and his wife loved wine tastings or sitting at home drinking coffee. You would often find him watching old westerns with John Wayne. The man had the gift of persuasion and salesmanship; probably could have sold a cobbler a new set of shoes from his own store. Many layers to what made him unique.
He will be missed dearly but is now set free of pain.
May harmony find you.
