Gordon “Knappy” Lee Knapp, age 73, of Loretto, Tennessee passed away at his residence on Monday, December 14, 2015.
Knappy was born on December 17, 1941 to Ross Knapp and Mary Stropes Knapp in Elmira, New York. He was self-employed as an auto body mechanic. Gordon was a veteran of the United States Navy, and was a proud member of the American Legion Post 146 in Loretto, Tennessee. Additionally, he was a member of the Elks Lodge # 2206 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
A memorial service to commemorate Knappy’s life will be held at a later date at the American Legion.
