Ina Ruth Boshers

Ina Ruth McKennon Boshers, 88, a resident of Frank Boshers Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Health & Rehab Center with her children and family by her side.
Services for Ina Ruth will be conducted on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Frank Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 4:00-8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Her children will serve as pallbearers.
Ina Ruth was a Mt. Pleasant native, and the daughter of the late Inez and Bud McKennon. She was the wife of the late Frank Boshers, Jr., who passed away on the very same day in 2004. She was the most dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, and often showered her family and friends with her excellent cooking and baking. She had perfected her craft of making desserts and made from scratch biscuits. Many people knew her for the famous Coca Cola cakes she sold at Lumpy’s. Above all, she was a believer in Christ and saved by grace. She was a member of Faith Country Church until her health prevented her from attending.
She is survived by her children, Steven (Kaye) Boshers, Randy (Shirley) Boshers, Ronnie Boshers, Brenda (Frank) Manning, Ricky (Donna) Boshers, Terry Boshers, Barry (Sherry) Boshers, and Jeffery Boshers; grandchildren, Angie, Shane, Donny, Matthew, Jereomy, Daniel, Kerry, Ciji, Britta, Tabitha, Jeff Jr., and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Cody, Erin, Katie, Briana, Emma, Katelyn, Will, Tyler, Justin, Matthew, Ricky, Lennon, Barrett, Reeves, Jagger, Aria, Dannica, Reagan, Miles, Faith, Adreanna, Hunter, Noah, Olivia, Luke, and Leah, great-great grandchildren, Lawson, Easton, Langston, Asher, Elizabeth, Samuel, Brently, Baylor, Grayson, Emersynn, Delilah, and Gabriel; one sister, Susie Chatman, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Donnie Boshers; grandchildren, Jason Boshers and Christina Manning; great grandchild, Kennedy Monroe Brooks; daughter-in-law, Diana Boshers; granddaughter-in-law, Sharon Boshers; siblings, Christine McKennon, Ethridge Copeland, JL McKennon, Seth McKennon, Kenneth McKennon, Arthur McKennon, and Lonnie McKennon.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab for the care given to Ina Ruth.
