James Taylor, Jr.

James Taylor Jr., age 58, passed away on March 1, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

James was born on January 7, 1965, in Maury County, Tennessee to the late James Taylor Sr, and Ealy Milliken Taylor.

James will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and loyalty. He was a painter and carpenter for many years and loved his work.  He was an inspiration to many and will be deeply missed by all.

James is survived by his wonderful children: Brittany Nicole Taylor, Cristan Joy Taylor, Shane Taylor, James Taylor III; siblings: Linda (Bobby) Isabell, Charles (Rachel) Taylor, James (Connie) Taylor, and Howard Taylor; dear friends: Robin McCord, John Boy Yancy, and Keith Hinson.

James is preceded by is parents: James Taylor Sr. and Ealy Milliken Taylor; and sister: Ethel (Bernie) Bolton.

A graveside for James will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Polk Memorial Gardens.
