Jane Adele Scott, lovingly known simply as Jane Adele, passed away on July 4, 2026, in Columbia, Tennessee, at the age of 33.
Born on May 28, 1993, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jane Adele was the cherished daughter of Ramsey Faber Scott and Anne Desmond Scott. From an early age, she possessed an extraordinary creative spirit and a brilliant mind that touched every aspect of her life.
Jane Adele was an amazingly talented artist whose gifts seemed limitless. She expressed herself through painting, writing, composing music, and playing the flute, sharing her creativity in ways that inspired those around her. Beyond her artistic talents, she was an exceptional cook who found joy in creating meals for family and friends.
She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, generous heart, and unwavering kindness. Jane Adele was always willing to lend a helping hand and brighten someone's day with her warm smile and compassionate spirit. A true ray of sunshine, she brought light into the lives of so many and leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved cats, who brought her endless comfort and companionship. Above all, Jane Adele adored her family. She treasured every moment spent with her nieces and nephew, who were among the greatest joys of her life. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply spending time together, she loved them with all her heart.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Ramsey Faber Scott and Anne Desmond Scott; her sister, Tressie Dubois; her beloved nieces, Bridget Dubois and Aoife Dubois; her nephew, Isaac Dubois; and her aunt and uncle, Susie and Mark Smith, along with many other relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved grandparents, Ramsey Owens Scott, Jane White Faber Scott, Francis Justin Desmond, and Tressie Jane Carrigan Desmond.
The family will hold a private Mass to celebrate Jane Adele's life and honor the beautiful legacy of love, creativity, kindness, and compassion she leaves behind.
