Janet Ault

Janet Marion Ault, daughter of Isaac (IKE), and Doris Easter, has passed on at the age of 71 into God’s hands. She was born in Missouri and lived in Missouri, Texas and Tennessee. She had various jobs, but her heart was in nursing. She went through school to become an LPN. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed pranks. She loved a good mystery and even wrote a few she never tried to publish. She also loved board games and was very competitive. She was a skilled crocheter. Above all she loved the Lord and her family. She cherished serving Thanksgiving dinner and always made enough to send plates home with us all. No words can express how much she will be missed. She was the first person to call if you had a problem. She was always willing to lend an ear or help.

She is survived by her husband, David Kenneth Ault of 39 years, Two daughters, Tonya Young Spalding, and her spouse Robert William Spalding, Christy Marie Beard, and her spouse, Isaac James Beard; five grandchildren, Timothy Austin Young, Cody Brian Young, Ethon Dotson, Gabriel Beard, Zoe Beard, and two great grandchildren: Emma Young and Luca Parker Dodson. Also survived by three sisters, Martha Plake and spouse Don Plake, Shirley West, and Carolyn Maylee.

A service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Bro. Jason Kizer officiating. The family is receiving friends from 12:00 PM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Janet will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
