Janice Brownie, born on June 6, 1943, in Oxnard, California, to the late Henry and Estelle Maulhardt, peacefully passed away on November 6, 2023, in Columbia, Tennessee at NHC-Maury Transitional Care.

Janice had a zest for life and a love for adventure. She and her husband, Bob Brownie, shared a passion for travel, exploring the open road in their RV as they journeyed across the country. Their adventures together created lasting memories and brought them even closer as a couple.

Beyond her wanderlust, Janice cherished time spent with her family, finding joy in each moment shared with her loved ones. Her beloved dog, Robyn, was a faithful companion who held a special place in her heart.

Janice is survived by her son, Bill Brownie, and his wife, Susan, her grandson, William A. Brownie, her sister, Carol, and her husband, Bill Jacobs. She also leaves behind her best friend, Leslie Stahle, and Leslie's family, including Jenna Smith and her husband, Joel, along with their two children, and Laura, Richard, Stahle. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, each holding a unique place in her heart.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Brownie, her son, Mark Brownie, her brothers, Hank, Paul, and Jim Maulhardt, and her sister, Mary Sensabaugh.

Janice Brownie's warm smile, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She has left behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to brighten the lives of her family and friends.
