Ms. Janice B. ?Jackie? Scott, 63, a resident of Smokey Drive in Columbia, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
A celebration of life service for Ms. Scott will be held Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Dave Goldner of the Joy Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 pm until service time.
Born in Middletown, OH, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Marie Pennington Lawson. She was retired from Saturn as a warehouse laborer and served in the US Army Women?s Corp. WAC.
She is survived by her only son, Michael Scott and fiancée, Joelle Skelton, both of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandson, Trevor Stephen Scott of Mt. Juliet, TN; sisters, Lillian Dillon of Norwood, OH and Lynn Waits of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary C. Goodman and a brother, Leonard Lawson, Jr.
Memorials may be made to the Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary, 1224 Trotwood Ave. Columbia, TN 38401
