Jerry Wayne Jaco was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee May 16th, 1947. He passed away peacefully at home on April 12th, 2026. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1967 to 1971, but as he said, "once a Marine always a Marine.". Throughout his life he left a mark wherever he was, from excelling in the marine business to setting world records he dominated any goal he set his mind to. I couldn't possibly list all his accomplishments here but some of his greatest were his 7 grandkids who loved and adored him. If you ever had the opportunity to spend any time with Jerry I guarantee you have a story or two to tell, he was one of a kind.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents James and Colleen Jaco and one sister Joy Jaco. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Jaco; his children Christopher Helton, Special adopted son Larry Burnett, Heather Jaco, Misty Kelley and favorite son in law Jarrod Kelley. Seven grandchildren; Justin, Ethan, Hudson and Sophia Kelley, Kane Prince, Jonas and Savanna Jaco. Siblings Janet (Donnie) Vandiver and Jeannie (Randy) Eddy. Several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Roger.
