Mr. John LaCapra, age 62, a resident of Kathleen Drive in Spring Hill, passed away Saturday, June 6 at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Services for Mr. LaCapra will be announced at a later date. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born September 12, 1946 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Rose LaCativa LaCapra and the late John La Capra and the husband of Sandra Briggs LaCapra. He was an RV Representative and a veteran of the US Air Force, serving in northern Germany. He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children: Fred Laurie LaCapra of Sandy, OR, Timothy Jennifer LaCapra of Spring Hill, Tonya Ken Jorgensen of Great Fall, MT; sisters: Thersa Sayers of Brooklyn, NY and Rosalie LaCapra of Waterton, CT; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
