John Myron Sandusky

February 4, 1922 — May 18, 2002

Mr. John Myron Sandusky, 80, a resident of Highway 43, North in Ethridge, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at St. Thomas Hospital.

A memorial service for Mr. Sandusky will be conducted Sunday, May 26, 2002, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses on Highway 64 in Lawrenceburg with Jack Davis officiating. Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Lawrence County native was the son of the late Joshua John and Susie Boone Sandusky. He was the husband of 58 years of Dorothy Sophia Romig Sandusky of Ethridge. He was a retired farmer of the Lawrence County area and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses in Lawrenceburg.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Loretta Sandusky of Ethridge, TN; a son, Eric Linda Sandusky of Columbia, TN; a sister, Mrs. Velma Turney of Clearwater, FL; 3 grandchildren, Shane Gabriella Sandusky, Julie John Gwaltney, and Adam Sandusky all of Columbia, TN; 3 great-grandchildren, Cameron Sandusky, Madison Gwaltney, and Zane Gwaltney, all of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.
