Judith Carol Russell

Judith Carol Russell, 67, of Columbia, TN. died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN.

She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ and previously was employed by First Farmers and Merchants Bank. She will be remembered as loving, generous and loved by many.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Stephen Kelley officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.

Pallbearers will be Brian Gray, Tony Gray, Brandon Caperton, Cody Osborne, Danny Gutowski, Andrew Cedillo, John Bradley and Johnny Bradley. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Signature Healthcare and the deacons at Highland Church of Christ.

Survivors are her two brothers and their spouses: James Perry Swindle and wife Ann of Columbia, TN., Gary Wayne Swindle and wife Teresa of MS; her children and their spouses, Mrs. Rahni Meece and husband Brian of Mt. Pleasant, TN., Andrea Griner and husband Wesley of Nashville, GA., Mr. Gary Todd Russell of MS., Mr. John Wade Russell and wife Jenny of Ft. Meyer, VA., Tristan Adam Russell and wife Amanda of Lawrenceburg, TN., Mrs. Kim Boshers and husband Johnny of Mt. Pleasant, TN., and Mrs. Kelly Burger and husband Rick of Lewisburg, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents James Wilson Swindle and Margaret Underwood Swindle-Brown and husband Shelby Frank Russell.
