Lane Rosencrans, age 56, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Born on May 11, 1970, in Anderson, Indiana, Lane was the beloved son of the late Larry and Linda Rosencrans. 

He proudly served his country as a veteran of the Desert Storm conflict, carrying with him a deep sense of honor and dedication throughout his life.Lane was a man of many passions. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Fighting Irish. He had a true passion for cooking and found great joy in preparing meals to share with those he loved. A devoted history buff, Lane enjoyed learning about the past and could often be found reading or sharing historical facts with family and friends. Above all, he treasured the friendships he built throughout his life, especially the special bond he shared with his dear friends, James and Glenda.

Lane will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Shelby Wilson; his sister, Barbara Ferguson; and his brother, Lance Rosencrans. 

He was reunited with his beloved parents, Larry and Linda Rosencrans.
