Larry Thomas Stone, age 77, passed away on April 6, 2026, at Life Care Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Larry was born in Pulaski, Tennessee, and lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and simplicity. He was a butcher by trade, worked on the farm raising cattle, and also spent time as a beekeeper. Larry was known for his strong work ethic and his quiet, steady nature. Though he was a simple and reserved man, he enjoyed good music, especially the songs of the Beach Boys. He was a member of the Roberts Fork church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul T. Stone; his son, John Thomas Stone; and his brother, Glen Stone.

He leaves behind his mother Irene Stone Dalton, his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Nancy Luna Stone; his children, Brian Stone and Melissa (Keith) Lovell; his sister, Linda Chapman; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Spencer Hill Cemetery on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
