Larry M. Webb, age 83, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, at University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Larry was born on February 2, 1942, in Eupora, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring with the distinguished rank of Master Chief, a role that reflected his dedication, leadership, and commitment to service. Following his military career, Larry continued serving the public as a Postmaster with the United States Postal Service, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.
In his free time, Larry enjoyed photography and gardening, finding joy in capturing moments and tending to the earth. Above all else, his greatest pride and happiness came from his family, who were the center of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ida Lee Webb; his sons, Keith Webb and Kevin Webb; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several extended family members who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter: Brooke Webb; and his parents: Grace Marie Webb and Meredith M. Webb.
A Celebration of Life service for Larry will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 AM until the time of service.
Larry’s legacy of service, love, and devotion to family will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
