Linda Sue Cummins, age 77, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on Lawrenceburg Highway on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Cummins; her son, Jeremy Cummins; her grandson, Bryan Cummins; her sister, Sherry (Darryl) Holt; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth Pike; and her sister, Roberta Pike.

Linda was known for her straightforward personality and her willingness to speak her mind. She spent many years caring for others as a nursing home aide, a profession that reflected her hardworking nature. She also worked at the Rebel Truck Stop Restaurant and the Hillview Nursing Home, where she made many lasting friendships through the years.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed watching softball games and had a special love for flowers, especially tulips, ferns, and elephant ear plants. She also delighted in collecting anything featuring Disney's Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a hobby that brought her much joy.

Linda was baptized at Sandy Hook church of Christ and later restored at Grinder's Creek church of Christ in Hohenwald.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Pleasant. A second visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service following at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darryl Holt, Liam Holt, Tony Trogdon, Lane Cross, Gilbert Marshall, and Michael Infield. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Macknab and Steve Holloway.

Linda will be remembered for her honesty, strong spirit, caring heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
