Linda Ann King

March 31, 1951 — September 26, 2025

Santa Fe, TN

Linda Ann King, age 74, of Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Born on March 31, 1951, to the late William Kelley and Frances Chapman, Linda was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and endless compassion. She was married for 43 wonderful years to the love of her life, Wilson “Donnie” King, until his untimely passing. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith — a foundation that remains strong in those who survive her.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her children, Stephen King and Michelle (Heath) Pigg; her cherished granddaughter, Kayleigh Pigg, who brought her immense pride and joy — especially through her ballet recitals, Linda’s favorite to attend. She is also survived by her siblings: Teresa Bowman, Pam Wales, Laverne Boles, Wayne Kelley, Wade Kelley, Janice Scroggins, Bill Kelley, and William Carroll Kelley, as well as her beloved aunt, Kathy Hobby. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donnie.

A devoted Christian, Linda was a member of Jones Valley church of Christ. She read her Bible daily and, in her later days, deeply appreciated the weekly Sunday sermons from Stiversville church of Christ, lovingly arranged by her Aunt Norene. Linda and Donnie began attending church together in 2000, a spiritual journey that strengthened their bond and brought peace to their home.

Linda lived a life filled with simple joys and sincere connections. She loved watching birds, caring for stray cats, chatting with friends on the phone, and most especially, supporting her granddaughter’s passions. Always quick with a smile and a kind word, Linda made the world a softer, sweeter place.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Jones Valley church of Christ, 2311 Webb Hollow Road Williamsport TN 38487.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dannette Pack, Dale Pigg, and Mary Hanes for their love and support, and to Teresa Bowman and Kathy Hobby for their compassionate care in Linda’s final days.

Linda’s life was a quiet testament to love, faith, and kindness. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
