Linda Haney Marcum, 75, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026. Born April 17, 1951, to Tom and Edith Haney, Linda spent her life in Middle Tennessee, surrounded by the family and friends she loved.
Linda was spirited, funny, and social, with a gift for bringing people together. She loved cooking, sewing, and gardening, and especially enjoyed hosting family and friends. Whether preparing a meal, playing a game of cards, or spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, Linda found great happiness in the company of others.
Linda loved the outdoors, particularly being at the beach or on the lake. She was a devoted fan of University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball, which she enjoyed watching with Jerry. A former Junior Miss Maury County (1968), Linda brought beauty, personality, and grace to everything she did.
Linda had an accomplished career in customer service, where she served as manager at Pelikan Inc. in Franklin. In 1995, she went on to Ford Motor Credit in Cool Springs and eventually became operations manager.
Above all, Linda loved her family and treated her friends like family. She took particular joy in the time she spent with those closest to her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry Marcum; her daughters, Alison (Eddie) Jerden and Lacy Voyles; her stepdaughters, Angie (David) Eberhard and Amy Marcum; her siblings, Robert (Brenda) Haney, Michelle Haney (Jon Alsup), and Michael Haney (Samantha Good); her grandchildren, Sienna Jerden, Chloe Jerden, Ryder Voyles, Stella Voyles, Joshua Eberhard, Lucas Eberhard, and Avery Jones; and her great-grandchild, Mara Eberhard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other members of the Haney and Dillehay families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Edith Haney.
A service to remember Linda will be held on Friday, October 23rd at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. The family will receive guests at 2:00 PM, and the funeral service will begin at 3:30. She will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 25th at 1:30 PM at Owsley Cemetery in London, Kentucky.
