Lonnie Kent Williams, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, in Columbia, Tennessee.

Born in Perry County, Indiana, Lonnie was the beloved son of the late Robert and Marie Williams. He dedicated his life to the service and care of others through a long and meaningful career in nursing. He worked with compassion and professionalism as a registered nurse at UAB Hospital and later served veterans with honor until his retirement from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Lonnie is survived by his loving husband, James Harris, with whom he shared many years of love, companionship, and quiet joys.

He will be remembered for his keen fashion, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to helping others. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through both his professional work and personal kindness.
