Mrs. Mabel Neeley Edwards, 85, a resident of Walnut Street in Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be conducted Friday March 24, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jim Walsh officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late, Jake and Lucy Johnson Neeley and the wife of the late Howard Love Edwards. She was a homemaker and a member of the Locust Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Edwards of Mt. Pleasant; beloved friend, Connie Workman of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Neeley.
Pallbearers will be Bill Johnson, C.F. Alexander, Gary Knowles, Alan Johnson, Tom Sharp and Paul Neeley.
