Maliea Brooke Brashears, 8, a resident of Love Branch Road in the Hampshire Community, died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
Funeral services for Brooke will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born on February 4, 1995 in Knoxville, Tennessee and was a second grade student at Hampshire School.
She is survived by her mother, Clara Brashears of Hampshire; her dad, Brian Howell of Hampshire; a sister, Tori Brown of Hampshire; a brother, Bryson Howell of Hampshire; two grandmothers, Mary Brackeen of Hohenwald and Molly Camarillo of Orlando, FL; a grandfather, John Brashears of Knoxville.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Smith and employees of The Video Shoppe.
