Marsha Kay Hann, age 66, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Marsha is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Lee Hann, and her beloved daughter, Miranda (Brian) Wood. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Sherry (Alan) Tate and Jeff (Terri) Peden, and by her treasured grandchildren, Elizabeth Wood, Brendlyn Wood, and Christopher Wood, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jane Peden, and by her brother, Rickey (Teresa) Peden.
A vibrant and stylish woman, Marsha had a special gift for finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved her pets, Stella and Sissy, and cherished quiet moments watching both classic black-and-white films and thrilling scary movies. She was known for her impeccable style, her fondness for shopping on Amazon, and her love of reading.
Marsha’s days were often filled with the things she loved most—gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers and plants, relaxing by the swimming pool, traveling, and enjoying time at the beach. She also delighted in playing games on her iPad and spending quality time with her grandchildren, always making them a priority in her life.
Her warmth, humor, and easygoing spirit touched all who knew her. Whether she was nurturing her garden or watching her favorite movies, Marsha brought a sense of grace and joy to everything she did.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff of Maury Regional Medical Center, especially the compassionate teams in the CCU and ICU Stepdown units, Dr. Botros, and the dedicated caregivers at Encompass Rehab for their support and kindness during her care.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marsha’s memory to the Maury County Humane Society or the Maury Regional Hospital Foundation—two causes close to her heart.
Marsha will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
