Mary Reece, age 94, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at NHC in Columbia, Tennessee.

Born on August 16, 1931, in Bethel, Alabama, Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Velma Thornton. She devoted her life to her family as a loving mother and homemaker, creating a home filled with love, care, and unwavering support. Mary was also a woman of deep and abiding faith, finding strength and comfort in her relationship with the Lord throughout her life.

She leaves behind her devoted sons, Larry Reece (Janice) and Johnny Reece; her cherished grandchildren, Connie Winters, Becky Pangle, John Reece, and Lindsey Reece; as well as numerous beloved great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion Reece; her son Jeff Reece and her daughters, Brenda Reece and Susan Reece. She is now reunited with those she loved so dearly.

A graveside service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, Tennessee.
