Millie Magdalene Hills was born sleeping on June 24 at 3:12 p.m. Though her time on earth was brief, she was deeply loved from the very beginning and will forever hold a cherished place in the hearts of her family.
Millie is the beloved daughter of Katelynn Elizabeth Hills and Lane Douglas Hills. She will be forever loved and remembered by her big brothers, Remington Runions and Jersy Cooper, who were eagerly awaiting her arrival.
During this time of sorrow, we find comfort in God’s word. In Mattew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Michael Cooper, who now holds her in eternal peace.
In addition to her parents, Millie is survived by her loving grandparents, Michelle Banks of Columbia, Tennessee, and Nicci and George Hills of Ethridge, Tennessee. She is also lovingly remembered by her Aunts Ashley Reeves of North Carolina, Kathryn Cooper of Montana, Rachel Poovey of Columbia, Tennessee, and Jessica Francis of Columbia, Tennessee; and her Uncles Lukas Banks Columbia Tn, Cody Hills of Alabama.
She is further survived by her great-grandparents, Terry and Peggy Casteel, along with many extended family members and dear friends who loved Millie deeply and will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Though we never had the opportunity to watch Millie grow, her life touched countless hearts. She will always be remembered for the love, hope, and joy she brought to her family. Her memory will live on in the stories, dreams, and love shared by those who were blessed to know of her.
A funeral service will be held at the Columbia Chapel of Williams Funeral Home on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Visitation with the family will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Interment will follow in the Garden of Angels at Polk Memorial Gardens
For those wishing to express their love and support, Lane and Katelynn are receiving donations to honor Baby Millie’s memory and assist the family during this time of healing. A remembrance basket will be available at the funeral service.
Jeremiah 1:5 “And before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."
Pallbearers are George Hills and Lane Hills.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our precious Millie.
