Mr. Morrow B. Henson, 70, resident of Circle Drive in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Henson will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Ray Penna, Randy Kersey and Tommy Hagewood officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 ? 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was a native of Maury County, the son of the late Thomas M. ?Buck? and Evia Thomason Henson. He was the long time owner and operator of Henson?s Grocery in Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Robert Margaret Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, with whom he had lived since 1989; one nephew, James Henson, Jr., of Nashville; one niece, Mrs. Sue Anne Henson Dickson Slate of Hampton, VA; two great nieces and one great nephew, all of Hampton, VA; two special friends, Ms. Ethridge Copeland and Ms. O.W. ?Daisy? Thomas of Mt. Pleasant.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Warren, Tom Wilson, Bobby Copeland, Danny Copeland, Timmy Copeland, Alan Thomason, Joe Nance, John Orban and Carl Robinette. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Thomason, Paul Carpenter, Hyman Frank, Mike Pruitt, Bob Harris, Edd Brown, Alvin Owens, Hazel Attkisson, Johnny Gibson, John Dugger, Bill Robinette, Donald Hathcoat, Dr. J.O. Williams, Joe Sam Savage, Charles Dale, Royce Nance, Mack McClain and the elders and deacons of Main Street Church.
