Nancy Ann (Middleton) Isabell, 66, Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on October 8, 2026.

Nancy shared many years of love with her husband, Donnie Isabell. She dedicated more than 30 years to General Motors, working at plants in Flint and Lansing, Michigan, and Spring Hill, Tennessee, where she eventually retired.

Nancy lived a simple, independent life on her own terms. She spoke her mind and followed her own path. She enjoyed listening to music, buying her daily scratch-offs, and collecting Harley-Davidson shirts. Michigan and Tennessee both held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Isabell; her father, Patrick Middleton; her son, Kenny Laatz; her grandson, Samuel Laatz; and her siblings, Jeff Pyle (Angi), Pete Pyle (Becky), Joni Hayden (Ted), and David Middleton. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Dale Atwell, Terry and Diane Mash, Scotty and Keri Isabell; stepfather, Lee Pyle; and special friends Hilda Pickhard and Elaine Manning . She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah (Dudley) Pyle; her daughter, Kelly Laatz; her sisters, Sherry De La Cruz and Mary Middleton; and her special aunt, Mary Jo Davis, wife of Marvin Davis.

Nancy was a proud member of the Sault Tribe, of Chippewa Indians.

Nancy will be remembered with love by her family and those who knew her.

Celebrations of Life in Tennessee and Michigan will be announced at a later date.
