Pamela Ann
Lasure
August 12, 1948 – May 6, 2026
St. Catherine Catholic Church
10:00 - 11:00 am (Central time)
Pamela Ann Lasure passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born in Clarksburg, Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence H. Fiber, Sr. and Ann Fiber, and by her brother, Clarence H. Fiber, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Noel Lasure, Sr.; and their four “roses,” Noel Jr. (Lorna) Lasure, Ann-Margaret (Jason) Rettinger, Maddilyn (Sam) Hubbell, Stephen (Cris) McCoy; and her deeply cherished grandchildren, Annalise Rettinger, Bear Noel Hubbell, Hunter McCoy, and Paige McCoy.
Pamela valued family above all else. Raised in a large Italian family where love was expressed through loyalty, sacrifice, tradition, and togetherness, she carried those values with her every day of her life. Family was not simply important to Pamela — it was the foundation of who she was. In the Italian tradition she cherished, family gatherings were sacred, meals were acts of love, and caring for one another was both a responsibility and a joy. She believed deeply that no one should face life’s burdens alone and that family should always be present to celebrate triumphs, offer comfort, and extend a helping hand.
Pamela devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, always placing the needs of others before her own. Whether through quiet acts of kindness, words of encouragement, or simply being present, she gave of herself endlessly. Taking care of family was not simply something she did — it was the mantra by which she lived. Her greatest happiness came from seeing her loved ones together, supported, and cared for.
As her health declined, Pamela often grew frustrated that she could no longer attend family events or provide the support she so naturally gave throughout her life. Even then, her thoughts remained centered on the well-being of those she loved most. Her devotion never diminished.
She and Noel married young and faced every challenge hand-in-hand, building a life rooted in enduring love, resilience, faith and commitment. Together they made homes in West Virginia, New York, Texas and Tennessee, creating wherever they lived a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering family bonds.
Pamela worked for many years as a legal secretary, but the role she treasured most was that of stay-at-home mother, a calling she embraced with pride, grace, and unconditional love.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church (3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN.) Following the service, family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at 105 Westland Drive in Columbia.
