Pierce A. Hankal

Pierce A. Hankal, born September 12th, 1949, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, passed away on October 5th, 2025. A proud Marine of 23 years, he served as a Warehouse Chief. He retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1991. Pierce had strength, kindness, and quiet wisdom through every chapter of his life. He found his greatest joy in the simple moments, time spent with his beloved wife, LaVonda, and the family they built together. 

He survived by his three loving children, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Pierce was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, LaVonda Hankal, and Parents: Wade and Rose Hankal.
